What is ARTBOURNE?

ARTBOURNE is an arts initiative run in alternate years at Wellesley College, Eastbourne and supporting the Wellesley College Foundation. Year 1 is a multi-artist exhibition, Year 2 the month-long Artist Residency, followed by a residency and student exhibition

Every second year ARTBOURNE exhibition transforms the Centennial Hall into a contemporary art gallery. The aim is to foster established and emerging artists (some connected with the school and others who are selected by a panel of curators) and to showcase for sale their selected artworks. The artists donate a percentage of artwork sales to the Foundation’s scholarship campaign Promising Futures for Boys

This endowment fund is for boys who would not otherwise be able to attend because of financial constraint.
