Keen to deepen your art practice and learn techniques from an inspiring artist and art teacher?
Join ARTBOURNE’S 2017 Artist in Residence Richard Adams for a two-day workshop in Wellesley’s art studio, on Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th November 2018. Whilst resident artist, Richard deeply connected with many. Sharing his art practice and well-honed techniques, along with his vibrant use of colour, he inspired and encouraged all.
By demand, this more extensive weekend workshop follows on from the very popular afternoon workshops that Richard offered during his residency last year. The hope is that with more time, and limiting the size of the class, the participants will gain more confidence and depth in their own art practice, and produce works they are proud of.
The programme is 10am – 4.30 pm each day, with all art materials provided. Lunch and beverages will be provided on both days.
The first morning will involve a short road trip by van, gathering some inspiration from along the Eastbourne coast. Bring suitable clothes for this outdoor scoping plus a camera or an image taking phone and/or sketchbook. A painting smock/old shirt for the studio would be helpful.
Cost: $300 (but if you register and pay before 30th of September, early bird special of $250 applies). Workshop is strictly limited to 15 places
